Job Description

As an Ambulatory Care Nurse Specialist with Bassett Healthcare Network, you will play a vital role in providing direct and indirect patient care under the direction of registered professionals. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing individualized nursing care to patients
  • Collecting and recording patient health data accurately
  • Evaluating health data to identify patient problems
  • Implementing and documenting specified interventions
  • Maintaining current licensure, certification, and competencies

You will be part of a dynamic interdisciplinary team working together to deliver high-quality patient care. Your skills in clinical care, multi-tasking, and interacting with people will be valuable assets to our team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A graduate degree from a practical nursing program
  • At least one year of previous healthcare experience (preferable)
  • A current NYS LPN license and registration as a Practical Nurse or a valid interim permit
  • BLS certification obtained within 6 months of hire
