Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Supervisor to join our team at HCA Florida Raulerson Hospital. As a Pharmacy Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of pharmacy technicians to ensure accurate and timely preparation of medications.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of medication inventory, ordering, and storage.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Provide training and education to pharmacy technicians on new procedures and technologies.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate/Equivalent Required
  • Associate or Bachelor degree Preferred
  • 6 months' experience in personnel management Preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years inpatient hospital experience Required
  • State Board of Pharmacy Registration (if applicable as per State) Required
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) Required
  • ASHP Sterile Preparation Institutional Training or Similar Required
