Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Sanitation Disposal/Landfill Attendant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide information to the public about City regulations concerning solid waste disposal and recycling.
  • Perform various clerical tasks related to the operations of the City's landfill as directed by the Solid Waste Supervisor.
  • Monitor refuse entering the landfill in compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Handle cash, checks, and credit card machines.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED and prior landfill experience preferred, but not required.
  • Equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Valid Texas driver's license.
  • Ability to work 10/hr day work schedule of Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Monday.
