Job Title: Dialysis Registered Nurse PRN Days

Job Summary:

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Sunnyvale is seeking a skilled Dialysis Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Dialysis Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing dialysis treatments, and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their unique needs and develop effective care strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in dialysis care.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse license
  • Current AHA BLS Certification
  • Current AHA ACLS Certification
  • Current AHA PALS certification
  • 2 years in acute care for Med/Surg
  • 2 years in psychiatric facility for Behavioral Health
  • 2 years acute/chronic dialysis for Dialysis
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
