We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team at Tufts Medical Center. As a Physical Therapist in our outpatient clinic, you will be responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing treatment programs for patients with a range of musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, and integumentary system conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients to identify physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement evidence-based treatment programs to improve patient outcomes
- Document and bill services accurately and in accordance with departmental guidelines
- Supervise and mentor students, physical therapist assistants, and support staff
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required; Master's or Doctorate preferred
- Current Massachusetts Physical Therapy License required
- Ability to work effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift, position, push, and/or transfer patients, supplies, and equipment
