About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Respiratory Care Specialist to join our team at Providence Portland Medical Center in Hillsboro, OR. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Job Summary:

This is a 0.9 FTE, night shift opportunity (7pm-7:30am, 3, 12 hour shifts per week) with rotating weekends. You will work on our 2R unit, a respiratory cardiology unit that cares for acute patients with respiratory illnesses and thoracic surgeries. Our team is comprised of highly skilled nurses and CNAs who excel in teamwork and support.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care to patients with respiratory illnesses and thoracic surgeries
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • 1 year - Nursing experience
