About the Position:

This full-time Licensed Practical Nurse position involves working collaboratively with our healthcare team to provide direct patient care, conduct medical procedures, and maintain accurate medical records. You will be responsible for administering medications, collecting vital signs, and providing education to patients on healthcare maintenance and prevention of disease. Your expertise will be essential in responding to emergencies, collaborating with other healthcare staff, and participating in patient care planning and treatment team activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient care as directed by licensed physicians
  • Administer medications, including oral, intramuscular, and intravenous therapy
  • Conduct treatments, such as venipuncture, and collect urine and/or body fluid specimens
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records
  • Participate in patient care planning and treatment team activities
  • Respond to emergencies and provide emergency care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare staff to ensure efficient delivery of care

Requirements:
  • License to practice nursing as a licensed practical nurse issued by Ohio Board of Nursing pursuant to Section 4723 Ohio Revised Code
  • MDS certification issued by ANNAC (American Association of Nurse Assessment Coordination)
  • Demonstrated expertise in nursing, basic medical procedures, and cultural awareness
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
