About the Position

As a Senior Quality Assurance Team Lead with the Army Tank-Automotive and Armament Command, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards are met in our maintenance mission. Our team is dedicated to repairing, rebuilding, overhauling, and converting tactical wheeled vehicles, and we need someone with exceptional leadership skills to guide us.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply International Organization for Standardization (ISO) of quality assurance policies and procedures
  • Attend scheduled Maintenance Review meetings to report progress of assignments and organization performance metrics
  • Evaluate Technical Data Packages (TDP) to determine if quality requirements are comprehensive
  • Provide support to the training department to develop effective Quality Management Systems (QMS) trainings
  • Review disposition of corrective actions resulting from nonconformance, audits, etc.
Requirements
  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation
  • This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance for access to Depot Production Computer System
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required
  • Temporary appointment may be extended in one year increments up to a maximum of three years but cannot be made permanent
  • Time Limited Detail NTE may be made or extended at management discretion
  • Temporary promotion may be made or extended up to a maximum of five years and can be made permanent without further competition
  • This position requires a successfully completion of the Civilian Education System Course and the Supervisory Development Course within 12 months in the position
Estimated Salary: $86,962 - $113,047 per year
