Telephonic Counselor

We are seeking a skilled Telephonic Counselor to join our team at Employee Services, Inc. The successful candidate will provide counseling and case management services to our EAP members, utilizing their expertise in behavioral health and social work to make a positive impact.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. They will be able to conduct telephonic triage and assessment, provide in-the-moment support, and coordinate resources to meet the needs of our members.
The schedule for this position is Sunday 8a-4p, Monday 10a-4p, and Tuesday 10a-4p EST. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct telephonic triage and assessment, providing in-the-moment support to members on issues related to behavioral health, substance abuse, relationships, and work-life balance.
- Coordinate and complete case management of intakes, making clinical determinations in adherence with Company risk policy and in the best interest of the member and Company.
- Provide referrals to service provider networks and other resources as appropriate for financial concerns, legal concerns, personal assistant, and work-life requests.
- Consult with service providers to make referrals and complete session authorizations, following cases to completion.
- Utilize computer-based case management systems to complete professional documentation.
Master's degree in a behavioral health field (social work, psychology, counseling, or related field)
5 years post-Master's degree experience as an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Counselor or equivalent behavioral health clinical experience.
