Mission Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Extern to join our Adult Med Surg team. As a Nurse Extern, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing staff in providing exceptional patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the nursing staff in providing patient care, including delegated basic patient care services and activities of daily living.
- Work under the supervision of a registered nurse to ensure seamless patient care and maintain a clean, well-organized, and safe patient care environment.
- Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve excellent patient outcomes and maintain a positive work environment.
- Currently enrolled and in good standing in an accredited school of nursing.
- Preferred experience in an acute care setting, but not required.
- Current listing with Nurse Aide Registry as a Nurse Aide I.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
