Job Overview

Providence Place of Dover is in search of empathetic individuals who are eager to contribute positively to the lives of our elderly residents. As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents in various capacities, including assisting with daily activities, serving meals, and providing companionship.

Our residents require a range of assistance, from those who are largely independent to those needing personal care with tasks such as dressing, bathing, and mobility support. We also cater to individuals with memory care needs in a specialized environment.

Compensation: Starting pay ranges from $15 to $16.50, with potential increases following a successful initial employment period.

Position Details:

  • Full-Time Personal Care / Caregiver roles available with 12-hour shifts.
  • Shifts: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM, with an additional $2 Shift Differential for night shifts.
  • Work schedule consists of 3 days one week and 4 days the next, with weekend and holiday availability required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED is necessary.
  • This is an entry-level position; training will be provided.
