Position Summary:
The Transportation Operations Supervisor will report directly to the General Manager and is essential in facilitating effective communication within the transportation operations team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee operators to guarantee adherence to safety and operational standards.
  • Offer assistance and direction to operators on various matters.
  • Foster a positive work atmosphere through coaching and mentoring initiatives.
  • Track on-time performance and compile necessary reports.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Assess personnel performance and implement disciplinary actions as required.

Required Skills and Physical Demands:

  • Strong multitasking abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Self-driven with exceptional problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Able to lift over 25 pounds, climb stairs, and stand for extended periods.

Education and Qualifications:
Essential Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Operations Management, including 3 years in the transportation sector.
  • A college degree may substitute for up to 2 years of required work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in transportation demand management (TDM).
  • Possession of a commercial driver's license.
  • Familiarity with DMV policies and procedures.
