**Environmental Services Housekeeper - Part Time - Days**

This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for patients, guests, and staff. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities:**

• Clean and prepare areas to maintain a clean and sanitary environment

• Provide general cleaning and services to patient rooms, restrooms, nurses stations, corridors, conference rooms, utility rooms, treatment areas, kitchens, solariums, offices, lobbies, lounges, stairwells, and waiting rooms

• Clean and make unoccupied beds

• Clean and service patient rooms after receiving discharge notification

• Prepare patient unit for new admission

• Notify appropriate staff of room/bed readiness

• Perform other duties as directed

**Requirements:**

• Attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal directions

• Ability to work with minimal supervision

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to respond to inquiries

• Effective interpersonal skills

• Ability to operate and utilize pagers, vacuums, putty knives, carts, and trash mobiles

• Ability to tolerate unpleasant odors and possible exposure to communicable diseases and body fluids

• Ability to constantly move, lift, or carry light to medium weight equipment, furniture, etc., and occasionally move, lift, or carry very heavy weight equipment or furniture, etc.

• Must be able to wear N95 or PAPR hood

• Stoop, bend, reach, stretch, push, and pull
