Cake Decorator Job Summary

As a Cake Decorator at Food Lion, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service within the Deli Bakery Department. Your key responsibilities will include maintaining standards in accordance with the standard practice manual, assisting in maximizing sales through excellent customer service and minimizing shrink, and ensuring proper sanitation of the department and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide quality customer service within the Deli Bakery Department.
• Be responsible for maintaining standards in accordance with the standard practice manual.
• Assist in maximizing sales through excellent customer service and minimizing shrink.
• Understand the use of ingredients, mixes, and icings and coordinate colors.
• Understand production standards for processing of all product.
• Ensure proper sanitation of department, equipment and proper food handling/preparation.
