Job Title:

Audio Visual Technician

As an Audio Visual Technician, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of various audio and visual systems. This role involves performing field service tasks, including providing support to clients with the setup and servicing of sound systems, intercoms, Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), and other related technologies.

You will work independently to install and maintain low voltage equipment in commercial environments, ensuring that installations meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Utilizing essential hand tools and equipment, you will prepare work areas and install necessary systems, acting as the representative of the company in front of clients. Clear communication with customers regarding ongoing work and future maintenance recommendations will be a key aspect of your role.


Key Skills Required:
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing low voltage systems, including security cameras and audio visual equipment.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and technical manuals for effective equipment diagnosis.
  • Experience with multimeters and low voltage systems across various product lines.
  • Networking knowledge is advantageous.

Soft Skills:
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong communication abilities with clients.

Job Type:

This position is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity with a duration of 6 months.


Work Environment:

This role requires full-time on-site work. You will be expected to operate in both indoor and outdoor settings, facing various weather conditions. A service vehicle will be provided for travel to job sites.

The primary service area will be local, but occasional travel to other regions may be necessary for specific projects.
