Chemical Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Analyst to join our team at Actalent, a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the analysis of samples using various instrumentation methods, including HPLC, IC, FTIR, XRF, MP-AES, ICP-OES, UV-Vis, SEM, CVS, Cross Sectional Analysis, Color Spectrophotometry, Torque Tension and Tensiometry/Stalagmometry.

• Assist in the development and validation of methods using HPLC or ICP
• Analyze samples using various instrumentation methods
• Maintain instruments and equipment through routine maintenance schedules
• Troubleshoot test methods or instruments, repair or modify as needed
• Develop and validate methods
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field
• Hands-on experience with wet chemistry (titrations, pH, dilutions)
• Functional experience with at least one or more of the following: MP-AES, Ion Chromatography, and/or HPLC
• Ability to develop and validate methods
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
