Key Responsibilities:

  • Cook food items according to recipes and Wonder's high standards
  • Assist in maintaining and setting up kitchen stations to ensure a smooth and efficient service
  • Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and safe for our team and customers
  • Ensure proper food labeling and storage, adhering to Food Safety and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines
  • Perform inventory checks and logging, ensuring accuracy in inventory control by scanning items in and out
  • Monitor and maintain food temperatures to ensure quality and safety
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of kitchen experience in a quick service restaurant or similar food preparation setting
  • Accuracy and speed in executing tasks, with a focus on quality and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow directions and instructions promptly and accurately
  • Effective verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the team
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, with a focus on maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment
