Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at the Wapakoneta Family YMCA. As a key member of our child care team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for young children to learn and grow.

• Supervise and ensure the safety of children under your care, maintaining a clean and organized environment that promotes their physical and emotional well-being.
• Plan and implement engaging lessons and activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our children, aligning with state licensing requirements and ODJFS standards.
• Communicate effectively with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress and experiences.
• Collaborate with the Center Director and other team members to ensure compliance with center policies and procedures.

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of Early Childhood Development principles and be able to meet the minimum requirements for State Licensing. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, and you must be at least 18 years old. Additionally, you must be able to pass a thorough background check.
