We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical Unit on a part-time weekend shift. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to a diverse patient population, including those with GI, Oncology, UTI, Dehydration, Pneumonia, COPD, Wounds, and Post-Op care needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patient responses to interventions.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
- Current RN licensure in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
