Position Overview:

We are in search of a Warehouse Specialist. This role entails the responsibility of securing and dispatching cranes, requiring a keen eye for detail and precision. The position necessitates the ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct weekly inventory counts of crane assembly materials
  • Generate purchase orders for necessary materials
  • Request quotes for requisitions
  • Manage stock materials based on inventory records
  • Order and organize shipping materials and supplies
  • Ensure accuracy in all documentation
  • Assist management as required
  • Complete out-of-inventory sheets
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse
  • Receive and check steel orders
  • Confirm quantity and quality of received orders
  • Match received items with purchase orders
  • Process shipments via UPS and FedEx
  • Transport supplies to and from storage areas; label and issue supplies
  • Restock shelves and manage inventory rotation
  • Encourage a positive workplace atmosphere and foster high morale

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in computer usage
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Successful completion of a drug test
  • Pass a background check

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Clean Driving Record
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
  • Overhead Crane Operator training or certification required

Work Environment:

  • Extended periods of sitting at a desk and utilizing a computer
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally

Position Type and Work Hours:

This is a full-time role; standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
