Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate imaging equipment, such as CT scanners and X-ray machines, to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring the proper disposal of waste.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) or equivalent.
- Experience working in a diagnostic imaging setting, preferably in a travel or temporary capacity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to lift and move patients, as well as operate heavy equipment, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends, as needed.
