Job Summary
Northwell Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. You will work closely with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
* Assessment: Collect and organize patient data, examine patients to determine their physical status, and identify and record their physical and psycho-social condition.
* Planning: Formulate a care plan that identifies patient needs in priority order, collaborate with the healthcare team, and anticipate work-flow and complete tasks.
* Implementation: Deliver care that communicates the worth and dignity of patients, adapt nursing procedures to meet individual needs, and involve patients and families in the care when therapeutic.
* Evaluation: Use current data to measure progress toward goal achievement, initiate nursing actions if patients fail to progress, and evaluate teaching done by obtaining patient or significant other verbalization of instructions.

Requirements
* Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Bachelors Degree in Nursing, preferred. Must be enrolled in an accredited program within 24 months of employment, if hired after September 1, 2010 and obtain a BSN degree within five (5) years of employment date.
* Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
