Job Summary

Juniper Communities is seeking a seasoned and accomplished Executive Director to oversee the daily operations of one of our locations. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of service and care for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Supervise and develop a high-performing management team, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff members.
  • Operational Excellence: Develop and implement performance goals, evaluations, and departmental policies to ensure seamless operations.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and execute an annual operating budget to achieve budgeted performance targets.
  • Communication and Relationship Building: Foster positive relationships with staff, residents, and families through effective communication and conflict resolution.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the provision of high-quality services and care through ongoing supervision and oversight.
  • Talent Acquisition and Development: Recruit and select competent management team members and ensure staff complete mandatory orientation and in-service training.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure all staff follow established safety regulations, including fire protection, infection control, and quality assurance.
  • Facilities and Maintenance: Ensure the building and grounds are maintained in good repair.
  • Accounting and Reporting: Maintain the accounting system and ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Staffing and Scheduling: Ensure adequate staffing patterns and supplies to meet operational needs.
  • Confidentiality and Compliance: Maintain confidentiality of resident and staff information and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Complaint Resolution: Review and resolve complaints and grievances in a timely and effective manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree; advanced degree desirable.
  • Experience: At least five years of progressive leadership/management experience in senior living, healthcare, or service-related settings; memory care experience preferred.
  • Licensure and Certification: NJ CALA New Jersey Administrator License required; meet and maintain applicable state requirements.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of applicable governmental regulations; valid and clear state driver's license.
