Job Summary

We are seeking a Recreation Assistant to join our team at the University of New Mexico. As a Recreation Assistant, you will assist with the preparation of sports venues for games, tournaments, and other special events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the setup and maintenance of sports facilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • Knowledge of sports rules and exercise equipment
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

  • American Red Cross First Aid and CPR certification
  • Work study qualified
