Ductwork Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ductwork Specialist to join our team at Besco-Engert. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for coordinating and installing ducting systems for various projects.

• Review and understand project blueprints and specifications to ensure accurate ducting system installation.
• Coordinate with site foremen to ensure timely and efficient material takeoffs and installations.
• Assist in the layout and assembly of duct systems, including inline units and roof exhaust fans.
• Train and supervise helpers to ensure they understand job tasks and can complete work efficiently.
• Attend weekly safety meetings to ensure a safe working environment.
• Use proper tools and PPE to perform assigned job tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of as-built redlined drawings for closeout documents.
• Ensure reliable transportation to and from job sites.

• Ability to use hand tools and operate electric and/or battery-powered tools.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. at times.
• Ability to ascend and descend step ladders and work from elevated scissor lifts and scaffolding.

• 5+ years of experience in a related field and successful completion of an apprenticeship.
• Adept at multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment, with excellent planning, prioritization, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and across multiple teams and levels within and outside the organization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
