Overview
The Nursing Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the professional nursing staff in delivering high-quality care to residents. This position involves providing essential personal care to assigned individuals and participating in the care planning and documentation processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Possess the necessary knowledge and skills to deliver care to residents in a Long Term Care environment, catering to geriatric, young adult, and middle-aged demographics.
- Assist residents with personal hygiene, nutritional needs, and medical treatments in accordance with facility protocols.
- Monitor and report any changes in residents' conditions to the Team Leader promptly.
- Ensure a safe and hygienic environment for both residents and staff by adhering to established safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Must be registered with the MN Board of Nursing as a Nursing Assistant.
Preferred Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
