About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our radiology department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform all CT procedures in accordance with ACR, State Regulations, and departmental policies.
  • Operate sophisticated equipment for various examinations, utilizing highly technical skills and expertise.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of CT technology and its applications, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for all patients.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Sciences.
  • ARRT (Computed Tomography) Certification (within the initial 6 months of employment).
  • One year or more experience as a CT Technologist (preferred).
  • Current BLS certification.
