Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Tele Oncology team at Southcoast Health System, Inc. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
  • Participate in patient and family education, promoting health and wellness
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of unit-based policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent
  • Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Three (3) months experience in a medical-surgical or oncology setting
  • Ability to obtain chemotherapy certification within one year
