The Night Auditor is a critical role in our hotel's operations, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for performing a range of tasks, including registering guests, making reservations, preparing daily reports, and balancing transactions.
Key Responsibilities- Register guests and make reservations in a timely and efficient manner
- Prepare and review daily reports to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Balance transactions and reconcile discrepancies
- Conduct security walks to ensure the safety and security of our guests and staff
- Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field
- High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field is helpful
- Previous supervisory responsibility is preferred
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial software
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
