Job Summary

Aveanna is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will work under the supervision of certified professionals to provide support to individuals with developmental delays or behavioral challenges. Your primary responsibility will be to implement behavior analytic programs in the school setting and/or home of the student, ensuring the individual's independent responding and generalization of skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work under the supervision of certified professionals to implement behavior analytic programs
  • Provide support to individuals with developmental delays or behavioral challenges
  • Collect data and graph results on all skill acquisition programs
  • Assist in the completion of assessments and upkeep of program books or electronic medical records
  • Implement strategies to prevent and provide consequences to the occurrence of maladaptive behavior
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Completion of Registered Behavior Technician training modules and test
  • One year experience with interventions to address maladaptive behaviors
  • Ability to work independently and with periodic supervision
