Job DescriptionIn this role, you will support your patients by providing direct care and coordinating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure that both patients and their families have an optimal care experience. As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), you will work closely with our physical therapists to develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
- Provide direct physical therapy according to directions of physical therapist and in accordance with the physician's plan of care
- Direct and aid patient in active and passive therapeutic exercises, muscle reeducation, gait and functional training, transfer activities and prosthetic training
- Utilize physical agents, including heat, cold, water, light, electricity, ultrasound and massage
You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all state and federal legal and regulatory requirements, as well as assisting with additional responsibilities as assigned.
