Job Overview

National Developer, a Top ENR firm with 70 years of experience in the Southeast, is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to lead high-visibility commercial ground-up building projects.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise on-site functions, including scheduling, engineering, material control, and day-to-day direction of field activities.
  • E nsure all construction work meets company standards, contractual agreements, and project plans.
  • Coordinate and interface with clients, contractors, and local authorities for smooth project execution.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and supervise craft employee activities, may involve supervising one or more trade groups.
  • Monitor and ensure quality control for all work performed, ensuring it meets or exceeds company and regulatory standards.
  • Promote and enforce a safe job site and maintain a culture of safety awareness within the project team.
  • Assist in resolving construction problems as required.
  • Prepare and maintain records of material and labor costs, among other field reports.
  • Participate in preparing construction schedules, reports, and budgets.
  • Assist with project layouts.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in the construction industry, with a focus on commercial and building construction.
  • Proven ability to supervise, direct, and lead field personnel.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, safety laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to effectively use them to coordinate and liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient in using construction software programs and technology.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a demonstrated ability to think on your feet and make quick decisions when necessary.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

The estimated salary for this role is $90,000 - $130,000 per year, based on national averages for similar positions in the Southeast region. This estimate takes into account the level of experience required, the scope of responsibilities, and the specific requirements listed above.
