About the Role

We are seeking a skilled General Laborer to join our team at Rinker Materials in Columbus, OH. As a General Laborer, you will play a vital role in the production of reinforced concrete pipe, box, bridge, and other related infrastructure products for stormwater and sanitary applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mixing and pouring concrete to ensure high-quality products.
  • Operating machinery and equipment, such as concrete mixers and conveyors, to optimize production efficiency.
  • Cleaning and maintaining equipment and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Assisting with the transportation and placement of concrete forms and molds to meet production demands.
  • Loading and unloading materials and supplies to support production operations.
  • Setting up forms in the manufacturing production process of concrete products to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Handling and moving heavy construction materials to support production and maintenance activities.
  • Following safety protocols and wearing appropriate protective gear to prevent injuries and ensure a safe work environment.
  • Adhering to quality control standards to ensure the production of high-quality concrete products.

About You

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is able to read and understand work orders and complex instructions. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is a plus. Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred, as is experience operating a forklift, especially an industrial forklift. You must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds frequently and push or pull a cart with 80 pounds of force. Climbing stairs and ladders is also required.
