Job Summary

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) plays a crucial role in ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift. As a CNC, you will work collaboratively with other members of the management team to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serving as a resource person for staff, and modeling a commitment to the organization's vision/mission/values.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
  • Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A current Florida license as a Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure.
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a Charge Position Role.
Compensation and Benefits
