At Stantec, we're passionate about building strong communities that thrive. As a Seasonal Survey Technician, you'll play a vital role in defining land boundaries and analyzing spatial data to drive community development forward.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce accurate CAD drawings for boundary, topographic, land title surveys, and tree surveys.
  • Assist in reviewing and processing field survey results, including shape, contour, location, elevation, and dimensions of land features.
  • Load vehicles with tools and equipment, ensuring materials are loaded correctly.
  • Research survey records and land titles to obtain information about property boundaries and areas to be surveyed.
  • Verify the accuracy of field survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
What We're Looking For:
  • Working knowledge of field survey methods and calculations.
  • Developing understanding of field instrumentation, GPS, and robotic total stations.
  • Good cooperative skills in working efficiently with a team.
  • Good math skills, including algebra and trigonometry.
  • Working knowledge of CAD standards and relevant software programs.
