Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Substitute Bus Driver to join our team at Clear Creek Amana Community School District. As a Substitute Bus Driver, you will be responsible for providing safe and orderly transportation for students, ensuring their well-being and safety during transit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport students safely and efficiently to and from school and extracurricular activities.
  • Conduct pre-trip safety checks on assigned equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to address any concerns or issues.
  • Attend regular safety training sessions and meetings to stay up-to-date on district policies and procedures.
  • Comply with all relevant laws and regulations, including those related to commercial driver's licenses and medical certifications.
Requirements
  • Valid Class B CDL with all applicable endorsements.
  • Pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
