Job Overview

Wasatch Peaks Ranch LLC is seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at our private mountain resort community in the Wasatch Mountains. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a desire to learn new skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of food items, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts, according to established recipes and standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations and a positive team atmosphere.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, including cleaning equipment, wiping down surfaces, and restocking supplies.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management and food ordering, ensuring that all necessary ingredients are available and properly stored.
  • Menu Development: Contribute to menu development and testing of new dishes.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous food service experience is preferred but not required.
  • Skills: Passion for cooking, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong attention to detail, and commitment to food safety.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Schedule: Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include competitive pay, opportunities for career growth, and a dynamic work environment.
