Job Title: Mammography Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at a top healthcare facility in Salinas, CA. As a Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for acquiring diagnostic images of the breast using specialized x-ray equipment.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Explain the procedure to patients and properly position them to obtain the best image for the physician.
  • Maintain, calibrate, and operate sophisticated medical imaging equipment that uses low-level radiation to produce detailed images of the breast.
  • Provide empathetic and professional care to make patients feel more comfortable and assured.
Requirements:
  • Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Licensed by the California Radiologic Health Branch - Certificate and Fluoroscopy Certificate.
  • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • 2 years of experience required within the last 5 years.
