Job Summary:

Christ Church is seeking a skilled Audio Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Worship and Creative Arts team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional live sound experiences for our events, promotions, and worship services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for audio engineering and a keen eye for detail. You will work closely with our team to ensure seamless execution of live sound events, providing outstanding support and expertise to our worship team and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate, test, and maintain all audio equipment to ensure optimal performance and quality.
  • Liaise with our Worship and Creative Arts team to coordinate sound checks, rehearsals, and live events.
  • Collaborate with our visual, computer graphics, and lighting teams to ensure synchronized delivery of all elements.
  • Adjust sound levels and EQ as needed to ensure exceptional sound quality.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to our worship team and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of audio engineering principles.
  • Experience with digital consoles, Studio One/Ableton, and Dante audio networking.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and late hours as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Audio Engineering and/or Audio Production (or related field).
