Respiratory Therapist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and deliver respiratory care services to patients, including oxygen therapy, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures to evaluate the need for and response to respiratory therapy.
  • Monitor patients receiving invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation.
  • Document patient assessment and treatment plans.
Requirements:
  • Associate Degree or Vocational School Graduate in Respiratory Therapy.
  • State Registered Respiratory Therapist or State Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician.
