About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at ProHealth Care. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform basic pharmaceutical duties under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
  • Order and control stock, select drug products, and prepare non-sterile medications
  • Handle controlled substances and manage pharmacy automated systems
  • Provide accurate and independent work, interacting well with healthcare personnel
  • Triage phone calls and manage EPIC medication messages and pharmacy consults
  • Perform delivery to and from nursing units and follow departmental policies regarding medication use process
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Registered with the State of Wisconsin
  • 18 years of age and has graduated from high school or equivalent
  • Hazardous/non-hazardous Non-Sterile Compounding is required
