About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Outpatient Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Ellie Mental Health. As a Therapist for Outpatient Services, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health care to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate mental health diagnoses, create, and implement treatment plans, complete ongoing documentation, and provide excellent customer service to clients and their families.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community and utilizing creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed their goals.
  • Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session, maintain a caseload that ensures a minimum of 25 completed client visits per week, and coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed.
  • Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings, and maintain a commitment to ongoing professional development and growth.

Requirements:

  • A master's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university and/or on track to obtain licensure in their designated field.
  • New Mexico-issued clinical licensure (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, LMSW, etc.) and required experience with completing DAs, treatment plans, and clinical case notes.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients, and comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base.
  • Proficient in the use of Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems (Valant experience a plus), and fully licensed clinicians will ideally be credentialed with insurance panels.
