Job Summary:

The Maintenance Lead Worker will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations of Hancock County Health System facilities. This includes assigning and facilitating daily work and project priorities through the electronic work order and PM system, as well as providing support for all patients, colleagues, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign and facilitate daily work and project priorities through the electronic work order and PM system.
  • Provide support for all patients, colleagues, and visitors of Hancock County Health System facilities.
  • Ensure maintenance services are provided to all HCHS facilities in accordance with industry quality and safety standards.
  • Participate in department call schedule on a rotating basis.
  • Adhere to industry quality and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Advanced technical training related to building and equipment maintenance desirable.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a field related to mechanical, electrical, or HVAC field preferred.
  • Must possess and maintain an active Iowa Driver's License.
  • Must live within 20 minutes of hospital for call purposes.
  • Must have or be willing to become a State of Iowa licensed boiler operator.
  • Must be able to operate a Windows-based computer along with Microsoft and other software.
