Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled Nephrology Med Surg Registered Nurse to join our team at Methodist Hospital Metropolitan. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to deliver exceptional patient care and work with a talented group of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

As a Nephrology Med Surg Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes, and demonstrating excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Applying the nursing process, critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, technical skills, and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care to patients.
  • Collaborating with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes.
  • Providing communication, confidence, and professionalism as evidenced by active engagement in unit and organizational activities.
  • Demonstrating team work, adaptability, and serving as a resource to the patient care team.
  • Having accountability for delivering quality nursing care services and for promoting a positive image of nursing.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A graduate degree in nursing from an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
  • A minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse.
  • A current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
  • A current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
