Job Title: Retail Sales Associate

At Talbots, we're seeking a highly motivated and fashion-forward Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a key member of our sales floor, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with clients, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized service to customers, offering styling expertise and product knowledge to meet their needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their fashion preferences and making recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.
  • Drive sales growth by identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products, and by actively promoting Talbots' brand and products.
  • Work collaboratively with the management team to achieve sales goals and objectives, and to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date on fashion trends and product knowledge, and use this expertise to create engaging and personalized shopping experiences for customers.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong product knowledge and fashion expertise, with the ability to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and styles.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move merchandise up to 40 pounds, and to stand for extended periods of time.
