Compensation Package

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000, offering a competitive compensation package with weekly pay and health benefits available.

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students, identifying areas of improvement and developing individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement effective therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups, utilizing various techniques and strategies to meet their unique needs.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create and implement strategies to support student progress, fostering a supportive learning environment.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing to the development of IEP goals and ensuring alignment with district objectives.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records in accordance with state and federal regulations, adhering to confidentiality and data protection protocols.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Possess a Master's degree in Communication Disorders from an accredited program, meeting the necessary educational qualifications for a Speech-Language Pathologist license.
  • Hold current California Speech Language Pathologist Licensure or be eligible for active licensure, ensuring compliance with state regulatory requirements.
  • A Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is highly preferred, demonstrating advanced expertise in the field.
  • Prior experience in a school setting is desirable, providing valuable insight into education-specific challenges and opportunities.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, effectively collaborating with diverse stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
  • Show strong organizational and time management skills, prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands to maintain productivity and efficiency.
