Hospitalist - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Nocturnist PositionThis is a remarkable opportunity for a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Missouri with inpatient experience to join a thriving hospitalist team.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct evaluation and management services for patients in need of hospitalist care.
- Formulate and implement treatment strategies.
- Manage admissions from the emergency department.
- Document history and physical examinations.
- Provide cross-coverage for the hospitalist team.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by the chief hospitalist, adhering to NP/PA scope of practice.
The team comprises 14 physicians, 6 advanced practitioners, and a clinical performance nurse.
This position offers a no-call environment with no code responsibilities.
In addition, the facility features a 14-bed, co-managed ICU with 24/7 intensivist support; procedural skills are not mandatory.
Essential Qualifications:Applicants must possess a current, unrestricted license in Missouri (ACNP, ANCC, AANP). Preference will be given to candidates with at least 2 years of recent acute care experience.
