About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team at Capital One Arena. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a register/POS system and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
  • Greet and assist customers, anticipating their needs and providing a positive experience
  • Count, organize, and balance cash drawers, fill out cashier slips, and make deposits as needed
  • Adhere to Aramark's cash handling policies and procedures
  • Understand and be knowledgeable of merchandise for sale to assist customers and process transactions accurately
  • Complete opening and closing procedures as assigned, including maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment
  • Ensure product is stocked to appropriate levels throughout service and replenish items as needed
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Previous cash handling experience preferred
  • Basic math and counting skills required
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Complete Food Handler and Alcohol Service trainings as required by location
