Key Responsibilities- Safety First: Collaborate with the Facilities Manager to implement, communicate, and enforce the facility's safety plan, promoting a culture of safety among employees.
- Lead by example, demonstrating safe behavior and attitude to ensure all employees prioritize safety every day.
- Direct the control and execution of work, ensuring quality assurance and adherence to maintenance work plans.
- Coordinate the proper, safe, and efficient execution of maintenance work plans, including troubleshooting and repair of facility equipment.
- Act as a liaison between technicians and management, addressing requests for support and grievances in a fair and timely manner.
- Utilize OEM and non-OEM documentation, schematics, drawings, and manuals to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Source repair parts using catalogs, manuals, and the internet, and schedule and perform repairs efficiently.
- Make recommendations to revise and update preventive maintenance schedules and perform root cause failure analysis to improve plant efficiencies.
- Perform other duties as required by management.
- Minimum of years of experience in maintenance supervision or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical individuals.
- Working knowledge of production and facility equipment and devices.
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints and/or technical manuals.
- Demonstrated ability to learn maintenance skills and adapt to new technologies.
- Proven skill in organizing resources, establishing priorities, and negotiating machine custody and service schedules.
- Experience with predictive maintenance techniques and root cause analysis of equipment failures.
- Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
- Technical guidance and communication skills to support non-technical or production operators.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Knowledge of operating practices of preventive maintenance.
