Radiologic Technologist

As a Radiologic Technologist - CT Scanner Specialist at HexaQuEST Health, Inc., you will play a vital role in acquiring high-quality digital images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Under the general supervision of the Radiologist, you will perform CT procedures and post-processing using advanced technology based on clinical criteria, anatomy, and established protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate CT scanners, power injectors, and computer systems to acquire images for use by radiologists in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies.
Maintain knowledge of different CT systems at multiple locations and ensure protocols are based on guidelines and CT scanner integration into a program that compiles dose data from each scan performed and notifies the user when a scan exceeds specific preset levels.
Obtain CT images according to established protocols, ensuring patients are properly prepared, positioned, immobilized, and protective shielding is used when applicable, and correct technical factors are selected.
Perform CT Interventional Procedures, including CTA imaging, such as carotid, head, vertebral, run-offs, PE critical bolus timing, and advanced CTA studies like TAVR and EVAR.
Requirements:
Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
Certified Radiology Technologist within 12 months from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Working Conditions:
This role requires working in a clinical environment, with a rotation of night shifts, every other weekend, some on-call, and some holidays. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, diagnostic imaging expertise, and the ability to work independently.
